Copenhagen under water
At an open invitation to the people of Copenhagen was sent by publishing an event on facebook, hosted by a politician, initiator and artist called ‘Jacob Fuglsang’ who works with the concept of ‘intentional art “based on the motto that art can make a difference and get people to reflect on the example of sustainability in an ordinary weekday.
‘Climate action Denmark is a network of a wide range of large and small Danish climate environment and development NGOs who have come together to create maximum awareness on the climate summits and its implications on politics, economy and societies worldwide’ says Jacob.
This ceremony hopes to bring more collaboration between Copenhagen awards and Copenhagen municipality’s environmental award for projects that provides sustainable urban development in the city’s active citizens, associations and business.
Examples of good projects that are carried out are, Ørestad Water Guild exercise supervisory and development of channel areas in Ørestad. Simultaneously follows guild water of the lakes and channels wildlife and measure water quality.
AcrobACTION is a nycirkus- and performance group that through dance and circus express themselves in relation to contemporary challenges such as climate change and human rights.
