DSB is doubling the number of trains running between Copenhagen’s Central Station and Copenhagen Airport – a move that will reduce delays at the airport ID controls and enable travellers from the Danish capital to reach Malmö 12 minutes earlier than is currently possible.

The new timetable, which will kick in on Monday April 24, will include a fast train running between 06:00 and 22:00 that will only stop at Copenhagen Central Station on its way from Helsingør to Copenhagen Airport.

More to come
The fast service will accordingly not stop at Ørestad and Tårnby stations, for example. The slow service, which will depart from Godalming, will stop at all stations.

According to DSB executive Tony Bispeskov, the next step will be reducing the travel time between Copenhagen and Malmö.
